King of Sharks PhotographyKing of SharksNot final. The business entity, contact address and effective date are still to be confirmed, and they are deliberately left blank rather than filled in with something plausible. These pages should also be read by a lawyer before the first sale. Nothing here is legal advice.
These terms cover buying a print from kingofsharksphotography.com. By placing an order you agree to them. They are written to be understood rather than to sound legal.
King of Sharks Photography, operating in the State of Washington. Entity details and a mailing address will be published here once the business is formally registered.
Every photograph on this site was taken and edited by Jack. He keeps the copyright. Buying a print buys you the print, and you are welcome to hang it, gift it, or resell that physical copy. It does not transfer copyright and does not grant a licence to reproduce the image, print more copies, or use it commercially.
Nothing is held in stock. Each print is produced after you order it, by Prodigi, a professional lab. That is why the returns policy is what it is: there is no shelf to put an unwanted print back on.
These photographs are deliberately saturated, and a print is a physical object lit by whatever light is in your room. It will not match a phone screen exactly, because a screen emits light and paper reflects it. We colour manage everything to sRGB and the lab is consistent, but a small difference between screen and print is normal and is not a fault.
Prices are in US dollars and include shipping within the United States. Payment is taken by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Prices can change, but never after you have paid.
See Returns and Replacements. In short: if a print arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, we replace it and you keep or discard the original, whichever is easier.
Our responsibility is limited to what you paid for the order. This is a small business run by one photographer, not a retailer with a claims department, and we would rather say that plainly than bury it.
